Contest Directions
![]() OPTION #1: Write a Narrative SpeechIn 200 words or more, write a narrative speech describing the life and accomplishments of an African American woman in history who has made positive contributions in our society. Speeches can be 1-2 minutes long and originally written by the participant. Record yourself reading your narrative speech and email it to: Richcitykids@richcitykids.org along with your parent consent forms. | ![]() OPTION #2: Write a Narrative PoemWrite a narrative poem describing the life and accomplishments of an African American woman in history who has made a positive difference in our world. Poems can be 1-2 minutes long in the form of a Haiku, Free Style, Diamante, Acrostic or Cinquain. Poems must be originally written by the participant. Record yourself reading your poem and send it to Richcitykids@richcitykids.org along with your parent consent forms. | ![]() OPTION #3: Write A Narrative SongWrite a 1-2 minute narrative in song form, describing the life and accomplishments of an African American woman who has made a positive difference in our world. 3. Winners will be announced on Tuesday
April 12th. Winners will also be featured
on the Rich City Kids social media pages
(Instagram and Facebook).
