Poetry Writing for Young Poets Ages 8 - 13

In this Poetry Writing workshop young poets will learn the art of writing poety, different poetry types, how to tell stories in poetic form and the history of well-known poets who have influenced the world. Young poets will learn about a different poet every week, how to write poetry from their own perspective and how to use poetry as a way of self-expression. This 6 week program is designed for young poets who want to enhance their creative writing skills, learn new writing techniqes and young poets who want to become even better poets!
