All Creative Arts Instructors / $35-$40 hr

Job Description 

  • Provides a positive and engaging learning experience for students of all ages

  • Attends weekly staff trainings and meetings 

  • Arrives to their school site on time 

  • Upholds positive relationships with students and staff 

  • Has a strong passion and proficiency in one or all of the following creative arts subjects: creative writing, music production, video production, theater, vocal, business development, hip hop dance, art, graphic design, fashion design 

  • Follows program aligned academic lessons and activities 

  • Creative in their approach to teaching students 


 

Requirements 

 

  • Must have 3+ years experience in the subject they will be teaching 

  • Must have 3+ years working with children of all ages

  • AA or BA degree preferred but not required 

  • Must be willing to travel within the Bay Area (mostly Contra Costa County and Alameda County)

  • Has positive experiences working with children and families 

  • Has available and reliable transportation 

  • Must be proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms and/or Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel 

  • Cleared background check 

  • Cleared TB Test 

                       Program Coordinator / $50 hr

Job Description 

 

  • Maintain healthy and productive relationships with assigned school sites, school staff and community center staff 

  • Follows up with school site administrators to ensure successful programming and school site needs are being met 

  • Overseas academic and creative arts programs at their assigned school sites or community center 

  • Provides support for tutors, mentors and instructors 

  • Updates the executive director and assistant director weekly on progress of programs and staff 

  • Attends weekly staff trainings and meetings to ensure consistent, productive and effective programming at all school sites and community centers

  • A liaison between school sites, community centers and Rich City Kids staff 

  • Collects weekly attendance records for every class from every instructor 

 

Requirements 

 

  • BA Degree or higher (or over 5+ years experience working with children in a school or community leadership position) 

  • Works well with children of all ages 

  • Must be proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms and Google Slides and/or Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint 

  • Has positive experiences working with children and families 

  • Has available and reliable transportation 

  • Must have strong leadership skills 

  • Cleared background check 

  • Cleared TB Test
