Rich City Kids Programs

The Rich City Kids organization offers a variety of workshops and programs for families near and far. Our virtual workshop options are available for those interested in a virtual learning experience and our in-person after school programs and weekend workshops are designed to service families within the Bay Area community.

Our creative arts programs

Our Creative Arts Programs are offered to school districts, community centers and home school communities. We are currently offering creative arts programs in the following areas:

Creative Writing (poetry and short stories)

In our creative writing program, young writers will learn how to structure and write short fictional and non fiction stories and will understand the different types of poetry, poetry elements and how to write and perform poetry.

Video/Film Production

In our video/film production and editing program, young film makers will learn important terminology used in the film industry, how to write scripts, film and edit scenes, acting techniques and how to create a short film.

Art & Graphic Design

In our art and graphic design program, young artists will learn the different mediums of art, important art terminology, how to produce a variety of art pieces digitally and physically.

Hip Hop Dance

Our Hip Hop dance class focuses on new and old school hip hop dance routines. In this program young dancers will learn basic and challenging dance moves, facial expressions when dancing,

Business Development

Students will learn how to plan and start their own business, create a name for their business, understand the legal process of starting a business and how to find funding for their business. Using their knowledge and skills, students will create a business proposal which will be presented to their families and staff at our end of the year program celebration.

Fashion Design

Students will learn the history of fashion design, popular and influential fashion designers and their contributions to the fashion world. Students will also learn how to sketch their own fashion designs, how to use design templates, how to identify different style patterns and fabrics and how to sew their own fashion designs!

Music Production

Students will learn different genres of music, understanding beats, sounds and music structure, as well as learning how to create their own music. Students will also learn how to write song lyrics to their music as part of their end of the year project.

Mentorship

Small groups or 1:1, the focus will be on: academic support, self-love, taking accountability & responsibility for our actions, how to control our emotions and thoughts, problem solving techniques, positive thinking/believing, healthy eating and physical health.
