Rich City Kids Virtual Creative Writing Camp - 6 Week Program (Ages 8-12 years old)

The Creative Writing 6 - Week Camp is desgined for serious young writers who want to take their writing to the next level! This is a donation based camp which means families are expected to donate any amount they are comfortable with giving. In order to keep our organization going strong we rely on donations and public support to maintain our arts education mission! 

In this class students will learn and understand: 

1. Understanding Affixes - Prefixes and Suffixes
2. Understanding Antonyms and Synonyms
3. The Art of Rhyming Words
4. The Elements of Poetry
5. The Different Types of Poetry
6. Poets Who Impacted our World in Positive Ways
7. The History of Hip Hop
8. The Relationship Between Hip Hop & Poetry
9. The Art of Performing

Enrollment is set to 15 so space will be limited so each child will get the attention and the support they need and deserve. 

Zoom Link will be emailed the week of. 

A workbook will also be included and as well as a Rich City Kids swag box containing merch and awesome art and writing supplies at the of the camp. To receive the swag box students must attend all sessions (unless they are sick or an emergency occurs or an absence is confirmed with instructor).
